Aim Straight Darts at Port Kennedy is Perth's south west darts venue - a specialist space built around the sport, not a dartboard bolted to the wall of something else. We combine a fully stocked retail shop with a competition-standard practice facility, making it the only place in the region where you can browse equipment, try it in realistic conditions, and practice or play in a purpose-built darts environment all under one roof.
What the Venue Offers
There are two distinct parts to what we offer, and most visitors end up using both.
The retail shop: A dedicated darts shop stocking a comprehensive range from Target, Shot, and Winmau - barrels across all weights and materials, quality bristle boards, electronic soft tip boards, flights, shafts, and accessories. Our stock is selected by people who play the sport, not bought in bulk by a category manager at a general retailer. The practice facility: Competition-standard practice lanes set up to regulation measurements - oche at 2.37 metres, bullseye at 1.73 metres - with quality bristle boards and proper overhead lighting. These aren't pub boards kept going with cable ties. They're well-maintained boards in a properly configured space, available to book by the session for individuals, groups, and events.
A Venue for Individual Players
For the solo player who wants to practice properly, Aim Straight Darts offers something most Perth players haven't had access to: a consistently good practice environment that you can just show up to. No setting up, no improvising with your lounge room wall, no working around a board that's mounted at the wrong height.

Try Before You Buy
One of the genuine advantages of a venue that combines retail and practice is the ability to trial equipment in realistic conditions before purchasing. The feel of a dart in your hand during an actual throw - at the correct oche distance, on a proper board, under match-realistic conditions - tells you more than any spec sheet or product description.
Our approach is simple: if you're considering a set of barrels, pick them up, book a lane, and throw them properly before deciding. The cost of a lane session is considerably less than the cost of buying the wrong darts. We'd rather you leave with equipment that genuinely suits you than close a sale that leads to a return or, worse, a player who gives up on the sport because their gear is working against them.

Aim Straight Darts is at 5 6/8 Bakewell Drive, Port Kennedy - in Perth's south west, easily reachable from Rockingham, Warnbro, Baldivis, Safety Bay, Waikiki, Secret Harbour, Kwinana, and Mandurah. What We're Not
We want to be clear about what Aim Straight Darts is right now, because we think honesty matters. We're a retail shop and practice venue - not a darts club. We don't run leagues or competitions at this stage. The clubs and associations across Perth's south west have built those things over many years and they do it well. Our role is to support that scene: better equipment, proper practice conditions, and a venue that makes the sport more accessible to players at every level.
If demand from the community grows and the appetite is there, we'd love to add competitions and leagues in the future - but that's not what we're about right now. We're here to make everyone who plays darts in this region better equipped and better practiced than they were before they found us.
